As Voxels keeps growing, with aesthetic and design themed islands such as Pastel, Chronos, and Architect Islands all attracting attention, we felt it would be appropriate to have our community cast their minds back to areas in Voxels that have a longer history.
So we’re creating a series of events called VoxTours, where we host themed events to celebrate some of the work done by the Voxels community to develop their parcels and add flavor to their areas of the map.
First up, we’re hosting a fashion show!
Prizes For The Best Dressed On Vibes Island!
VoxWalk, on Vibes Island, is likely the closest thing on Voxels to Paris’ Avenue Montaigne or London’s New Bond Street. It is, of course, Voxels wearables-oriented and you’ll find some of the most elaborate and stylish outfits in our corner of the metaverse.
If it’s something you wanna wear, you’re likely to find it at the VoxWalk Department Store.
On July 1st at 8pm EST (midnight UTC), we’ll be holding a fashion show at VoxWalk and you could walk away with a prize! All you need to do is come and walk the catwalk in your best costume, and we’ll be picking three winners for $500, $200, and $100 USD prizes respectively for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best-dressed.
Judges will be Metaverse DAO from the NEAR ecosystem, Hyperspek, and MetaCat, with whom we are co-hosting the event. On that note, we would like to thank Hyperspek for the venue, as well as MetaverseDAO, MetaCAT, MetaEstate, and MetaLandscape for their prize contributions to this very special Voxels event.

There will be a DJ and free wearables we’ll be giving away, too, with Juicebox DAO also donating a wearable to giveaway.

The event is about 10 days away, so now is the time to start grabbing Voxel wearables you think will impress the judges’ eyes. There are plenty of places to buy wearables on Voxels, and we know many of you have your favorite styles.
