Our devs keep on truckin’ with lots of upgrades and bug fixes. Our developers are some of the smartest and most hardworking people out there. They love what they do and are always looking for ways to improve our products and services. They are constantly innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the metaverse.
We are fortunate at Voxels to have such a talented and dedicated team on our side. Without them, we would not be where we are today. Thanks, devs!
With that being said, let’s dive into the enhancements and bug fixes for the week.
Bug Fixes
We did a fix for womps
We fixed parcel audio and volume changes on YouTube
We fixed the womps marker on the map
We fixed water material that was causing some errors in the console
We also have a forthcoming fix that addresses the problem with the wearable upload preview.
Enhancements
Product enhancements, as always, go hand-in-hand with bug fixes. We’re always jumping between fixing bugs in what is already released and releasing new features.
We brought back the Play button on the front page so people can get into the world quickly. We have added an NFTs tab to the front page to take users to collections, wearables, and parcels.
Additionally, we added some code to make Polygon transactions smoother. Basically, the code should ensure that the recommended gas fee is the one that will make your transaction faster. Users will no longer have to reset gas fees. (Please advise us if you encounter any issues with this.)
We undertook a major refactor of the wearables system. Collections and wearables will no longer be referred to as “collections/[id]/[token_id]” but “collections/{eth_or_polygon}/[address]/[token_id]” instead. The idea is to allow the team to work toward external interoperability.
Due to the significance of this refactor, users may encounter bugs along the way. Feel free to reach out if you encounter one.
