It’s official — our new island is launching on July 13th, with parcel sales beginning the same day! There will be 250 parcels and a few commons spaces.
Obscurity Island By Name… Intriguing By Nature
Our new island has intentionally been designed with a minimalist approach to allow the Voxels community maximum bandwidth to develop and create. Obscurity Island is entirely open to the community’s imagination. We want people to feel welcome here, to explore, and have fun.
We have designed it with that in mind. It is a place for people to gather, to create, to learn, and to play. We hope that it will be a source of pride for the community and that it will help to build strong connections between people. We believe that it has the potential to be a truly special place.
There’s Something About The Unfamiliar
Most people crave familiarity. We like to feel like we understand the world around us, and we’re always looking for ways to make sense of the chaos. This is why trends catch on, why fads go viral, and why we’re always drawn to things that are popular. There’s comfort in knowing that other people like the same things that we do.
But there’s also something intriguing about the unfamiliar. When we come across something that’s obscure, we can’t help but wonder what it’s all about. Why is this thing not more popular? What is everyone else missing? This curiosity can lead us down some interesting rabbit holes, and it’s often how we discover new things that we end up loving.
So we’re inviting all Voxelians to explore Obscurity Island and make it the island they want it to be — to take a chance on something a little more enigmatic.
